Passengers Abducted on Owerri to Aba Route in Imo State as Gunmen Hijack bus
A commercial bus traveling from Owerri to Aba was seized by suspected gunmen in the Ngor Okpala area of Imo State, leaving its passengers unaccounted for after a sudden roadside ambush. Eyewitnesses reported that the attackers emerged from the bush and opened fire, forcing vehicles to stop abruptly. Panic spread as some travellers fled into nearby bushes, while the targeted bus was taken over by the gunmen.
