Two men have been charged with terrorism over the killing of three women in Lamurde, Adamawa State, sparking concern in the local community. The suspects, 30‑year‑old William Joshua and 23‑year‑old Ezekiel Luka, were arraigned in Chief Magistrate Court I, Yola, on Friday. They are facing a five‑count terrorism charge and were remanded in custody as the investigation continues. Police say the women were killed on 3 January while working on their farm in Tigno village. During the arrests, authorities recovered ammunition, an AK‑47 magazine and cash, suggesting the men were armed. Adamawa’s Commissioner of Police, Dankombo Morris, called for calm and assured residents that all those involved, including possible instigators, would be brought to justice.
